Are all meals included?
We offer catered and self catering options. However in wilderness settings, the food will be provided. In Sweden both summer and winter food will be provided, as there are no shops within easy access.

Are all activities included?
We are putting together a range of activities for your bespoke holiday. You can choose to do as much or as little as you wish.

What do we do in the evening?
The lodges have a great feel to them, so you may just want to chat with other guests about the days adventures. Depending on location there may be local sights, pubs or other attractions to visit.


Can I bring children who are under 10 years old ?
Yes for certain of our adventures by prior arrangement at time of booking. We may be able to arrange for these family members to join you for certain events and have their own mini adventures at other times.

Do we have time to ourselves as a family?
Yes as much time as you wish. You decide on the mix of activities you want to do.

Do I need to take a car?
For Wales based activities you will need a car, as the lodges are in relatively rural/remote locations for public transport. For locations in Morocco, and Sweden.

Can you cater for vegetarians?
Yes if advised at time of booking.

Can we have a room to ourselves?
We can arrange this at most locations on payment of a supplement if your party does not fill all the beds in a particular room.

Can we have our own bathroom?
At some locations this can be arranged. At other wilderness locations all bathrooms are shared.

What kit do we need to provide?
General outdoor activity type clothing and sleeping bags, however please see the detailed kit list with each location.

Are these activities set at a beginner level if you have never done them before?
Yes, and all our partners have run such mixed ability type activities successfully for a number of years.

If I'm good at this activity, will I be held back by beginners?
No, there will be sufficient scope for the experienced and the beginners to enjoy themselves. However if you are expert at a particular activity, then you do need to be happy that this is a multiactivity holiday which does cater for mixed ability within the groups.

Can I get mobile reception?
There is limited mobile phone reception at many of our locations, there is limited access to electricity and to power sockets at most of our locations. The Wilderness Experience has no electricity at all. Your guide will have emergency communication with him. Have fun being alone together !!
